You should replace you treadmill belt once every two years with regular use. Clean the bed 4 times each year, and lube a minimum of 4 times each year.

You should attempt to determine what made the motor fail. Remember, there is a cause, and it must be repaired, otherwise you risk motor failure again. Maintenance is the leading cause of failure. Belts and beds need to be lubed and changed . Lube every 3 months, and change the walking belt every 2 years. Beds should be replaced when they show excessive wear in the middle areas. Always give the treadmill a full 15 amp service (non shared service).
